AX Apps is a one-person Android development studio run by P Venkateswaran in Erode, Tamil Nadu, India. It builds small, focused tools for Android TV and Google TV — the kind of app you reach for when the plastic remote has gone missing under the sofa.

com.ax.androidtvA full remote control for Android TV and Google TV, running on your phone. Pairs over your own Wi-Fi, with a D-pad and touchpad, keyboard typing, voice search, volume and power, app shortcuts, and casting of your own photos, videos and music to the TV.

com.ax.tvbrowserA web browser made for the television itself: readable at ten feet, driveable with a D-pad, with built-in ad and tracker blocking, private tabs, and downloads. It can also be pointed and typed into from AX: TV Remote, so your phone becomes its mouse and keyboard.

Neither app has accounts or sign-in. Pairing details, settings, favourites and browsing data stay on your device, and phone-to-TV traffic — pointer moves, typed text, voice audio, cast media — travels only across your own home network. Bug reports and feature ideas are welcome — the quickest route is the in-app feedback form under Settings, which reaches the same inbox and carries the app version with it. Data-deletion requests: email us the Device Code shown in the remote's Settings and we will remove every server record tied to it.
