AX: TV Remote and AX: TV Browser · Effective date: October 7, 2026

This policy covers two apps from the same developer. It explains what information each app handles, what little of it reaches us, and the choices you have. The short version: almost everything stays on your device or your home network. AX: TV Remote can be used without an account; signing in with a Huntbits account is optional, and is needed only for AX Points and to buy or unlock Premium (section 3). AX: TV Browser has no accounts or sign-in at all.

Sections below are marked with the app they apply to: Remote Browser Both

1. Information stored only on your device Both

• TV connections Remote — the names, addresses, and pairing certificates of TVs you connect to are stored locally so the app can reconnect. They are never sent to us.
• Settings and favorites Remote — app preferences, IPTV favorites, and similar choices are stored locally.
• IPTV playlist or Xtream login Remote — the playlist you added, or the Xtream server address, username and password you signed in with, are stored on the phone so your channels reload next time. They are not sent to us unless you choose to share them; see section 5.
• Browsing data Browser — your history, bookmarks, recently closed tabs, open-tab session, cookies, cache and site data are stored on the TV. None of it is sent to us, and there is no sync or backup to any server. You can erase all of it from the browser's own settings, or by clearing the app's data.

2. Device Code Remote

The app derives a short code (format XXXX-XXXX) from your device's Android ID, shown in Settings as your Device ID. On its own it contains no personal information. It is sent to our server to remember premium status and to tag feedback you choose to send, so we can tell submissions apart. If you sign in with a Huntbits account (section 3) it is also sent to Huntbits and kept with that account, because Lifetime Premium and redeemed codes are locked to one phone. AX: TV Browser has no equivalent — it never contacts our servers at all.

3. Huntbits account (optional sign-in) Remote

AX: TV Remote works without an account. If you choose Sign in with Huntbits, the sign-in page opens in your browser at huntbits.com; the app never sees your password. Huntbits is our own service, and the account itself — your email address, display name and sign-in details — is covered by the Huntbits Privacy Policy.

Once you are signed in, the app sends the following to Huntbits (api.huntbits.com) over HTTPS, and Huntbits keeps it with your account:

• A sign-in token — stored on the phone so you stay signed in. The app receives your Huntbits Player ID and display name; it does not receive your email address or password.
• Your Device Code (section 2) — so Premium that is locked to one phone stays on that phone.
• AX Points activity — that an action which earns AX Points happened, for example that you opened the app, connected to a TV, watched IPTV for a few minutes, cast something or set a sleep timer. Only that it happened and when; never which TV, which channel, what you cast, or anything you typed.
• Purchases — the Google Play product ID and purchase token of a Premium purchase, so Huntbits can confirm it with Google Play and put Premium on your account. No card or payment details (section 16).
• Codes and AX Points you use — a Premium code you redeem, and AX Points you spend on Premium days.
• Referrals — if you installed the app from a friend's invite link, the invite code in that link, so both of you receive the reward; and your own invite code when you share it.
• App integrity check — the app asks Google Play (the Play Integrity API) for a signed statement that this is the genuine app, installed from Google Play, on a real device, and passes it to Huntbits. It is used only to stop fake or modified copies from collecting rewards. It contains no personal information.

Signing out in Settings ends that session on our server and removes the token from the phone. To have a Huntbits account and everything kept with it deleted, see section 19.

4. Information you choose to send us Remote

• Feedback — if you use the in-app feedback form, we receive your message and category along with the app version, device model, Android version, and Device Code. Nothing is sent unless you submit the form.
• Review screenshots — if you take part in the optional review-reward offer, the screenshot you upload is stored on our server together with your Device Code so we can grant the reward.
• Playlist addresses — if you add your own IPTV playlist, the playlist's web address (URL) may be reported to our server for content review. The playlist's contents are not uploaded, and the address is never shared or served to other users. Addresses that contain a login are excluded — see the next section.

5. IPTV playlists and Xtream logins Remote

AX: TV Remote can load IPTV channels either from a playlist address (M3U) or from an Xtream login — a server address, username and password issued by your IPTV provider.

• Your login stays on your device. An Xtream login is stored on the phone so your channels reload next time. It is not sent to us unless you explicitly choose to share it, as described below.
• Xtream addresses are never reported for review. An Xtream playlist address contains your username and password inside the address itself, so — unlike an ordinary M3U address — it is never submitted to our servers for content review.
• Sharing a login is optional and off by default. The sign-in screen has a checkbox offering to share the login with the developer to help test IPTV. It is unticked unless you tick it, and signing in works exactly the same either way. Only if you tick it are the server address, username and password sent to us.
• What we do with a shared login. It is used solely to test IPTV features in the app. It is stored privately, is never shown or served to other users, and is not used to watch or resell content. Ask us to delete it at any time and we will.
• Removing it. "Sign out of Xtream" on the IPTV screen deletes the saved login from your device. If you also shared it with us, contact us and we will delete our copy.

We do not operate, endorse or supply any IPTV service. What you watch and whether you are entitled to watch it is between you and your provider.

6. Websites you visit Browser

The browser loads pages directly from the websites you open. We do not proxy, intercept, log, or store the addresses you visit. Those websites are independent of us and may set their own cookies and collect their own data under their own privacy policies — exactly as they would in any other browser.

7. Search and address-bar suggestions Browser

When you type in the address bar, what you type is sent to the suggestion service of your selected search engine so it can offer completions, and submitting a search sends your query to that engine. You can choose between Google (the default), DuckDuckGo and Bing in the browser's settings. Those queries are handled by the provider you pick, under Google's, DuckDuckGo's or Microsoft's privacy policy. They do not pass through our servers.

8. Private (incognito) tabs Browser

A private tab is not written to history, is not restored when the browser reopens, does not use the page cache, and does not accept third-party cookies.

One honest limitation: Android gives an app a single cookie store shared by every tab. First-party cookies set while you are in a private tab therefore remain after that tab is closed. Private tabs reduce what is recorded; they are not a guarantee that a site cannot recognise you later. Clearing browsing data from settings removes them.

9. Downloads Browser

Files you download are saved to your TV's own storage. We never receive them, see what they are, or know that a download happened.

10. Ad and tracker blocking Browser

The browser filters requests against a blocklist built into the app. Matching happens entirely on the device — no addresses, page contents, or browsing history are sent anywhere for this, and the list is not fetched from or reported to a server.

11. Phone control over your local network Both

AX: TV Browser runs a small server on your home network so that AX: TV Remote can act as its mouse and keyboard. Pointer movement, clicks, scrolling and typed text travel only between your phone and your TV, over your own Wi-Fi. None of it reaches us, and neither app stores what you type.

So the phone can find the TV, the browser advertises itself on your local network using Android's standard service discovery, including the port and an access token for the touchpad page. That advertisement and the touchpad page are visible only to devices already on your network, and the page is served over plain HTTP because a TV on a home network has no certificate. Treat it as you would any other device on your Wi-Fi.

12. Server logs Remote

Like nearly every web server, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, and the file requested) when the app fetches the curated channel list or talks to our feedback, premium and Huntbits account endpoints. Logs are used only to operate and secure the service and are deleted on a rolling basis. AX: TV Browser does not contact our servers, so it produces no such logs.

13. Advertising (Google AdMob) Remote

The free version of AX: TV Remote shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob is operated by Google and may collect device information such as your advertising ID to show and measure ads, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and Google's advertising policies. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your device's Google settings. Premium removes ads.

AX: TV Browser contains no advertising of any kind.

14. Your ad choices, and users in the EEA and UK Remote

Ads can be personalised (chosen partly from an advertising identifier associated with your device) or non-personalised (chosen from context alone, such as the app you are using). You control which you receive:

• On any device — Android's own settings let you reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalisation entirely, at Settings → Privacy → Ads. The app honours that choice; we cannot override it.
• In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom — where the law requires your consent before an advertising identifier may be used, that consent is collected before personalised ads are served, and can be changed or withdrawn later. Withdrawing it does not remove ads; it means they are chosen without using an identifier.
• Removing ads entirely — Premium removes all advertising from AX: TV Remote, and involves no advertising identifier at all.

Our advertising partner is Google (AdMob). Google's own handling of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

15. Analytics & crash reporting (Google Firebase) Remote

To understand which features are used and to find and fix crashes, AX: TV Remote uses Google Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring. These collect anonymous usage events (for example which remote buttons are pressed, whether a TV connection succeeded, and which screens are opened), general device information (model, operating system version, country) and crash reports. This data is aggregated, is not used to identify you personally, and is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

AX: TV Browser contains no analytics or crash-reporting service. It collects no usage data whatsoever.

16. Purchases (Google Play Billing) Remote

Payment for Premium is processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your name, card number, or any other payment details. What we do receive is the product ID and the purchase token Google Play issues for the purchase; our server checks that token with Google Play to confirm the purchase is real, to see when a subscription renews or ends, and to learn of a refund. The result is kept as a purchase record with your Huntbits account (section 3) and, for Lifetime Premium, your Device Code. AX: TV Browser has no purchases.

17. Microphone Remote

The microphone is used only for voice search, only while you hold the mic button. Audio is streamed directly to your TV over your local network, exactly as a physical remote's mic would be. Voice audio is never recorded, stored, or sent to our servers.

18. Photos, videos & music Remote

If you cast personal media, the app serves the files you pick directly from your phone to your TV over your local Wi-Fi network. Your media files are never uploaded to us or to any third party.

19. Data retention & deletion Both

Feedback, review screenshots, and premium records from AX: TV Remote are kept only as long as needed to run the service. To have your data deleted, email us your Device Code (shown in the app's Settings) and we will remove all server records associated with it.

Huntbits account. What section 3 describes is kept for as long as the account exists. You can ask for the account and its data to be deleted at any time: email us from the account's email address, or quote your Huntbits Player ID (shown in Settings when you are signed in). Records we must keep by law — for example of purchases, or of rewards that were paid out — are kept for the period the law requires and then deleted. Signing out, or uninstalling the app, does not by itself delete the account.

An Xtream login you chose to share (section 5) is deliberately stored without your Device Code, so that a set of credentials is not tied to an identifiable device. That also means we cannot find it from your Device Code alone: to have it deleted, email us the server address and username you shared, and we will remove it.

For AX: TV Browser there is nothing on our side to delete, because nothing is ever sent. Everything it keeps — history, bookmarks, cookies, downloads — is erased by clearing browsing data in its settings, by clearing the app's data, or by uninstalling it. The same is true of everything AX: TV Remote stores on your phone.

20. Children Both

Both apps are general-audience utilities and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. AX: TV Browser provides access to the open web and includes no content filtering; parents who want restricted browsing should use their TV's own parental controls.

21. Security Both

Communication with our server uses HTTPS. Communication between the remote and your TV stays on your local network and uses the pairing security built into Android TV. The browser loads websites over HTTPS wherever the site offers it, and the phone-control link between the two apps stays on your home network as described in section 11.

22. Changes to this policy Both

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.

AX: TV Remote and AX: TV Browser are not affiliated with Google, Android, or any TV manufacturer. Android, Android TV, and Google TV are trademarks of Google LLC.
